Did u have a good time on 4th of July?

I had a great time myself with a good friend of mine... it has been 2 days but last Sunday I tried to go to a college "M" on the mts, where a lot of ppl go up there as hiking as well as for excuese (sp?, something like walking, or running...whatever u call it lol, something like that) and it was only 31/4 miles up to college "M"... but it was full car parking lots!! Damn! So went to somewhere to take pix someplace... just driving around... but I was so sleepy for some reason so came home and took 2 hrs nap..geez! Oh well...

Then on next day (Tuesday) I asked my friend to go with me to dirve up to Fairy Lake, that my manger told me abt it...so though to try out...boy that road sure rough but not that deep one tho, whew! :lol: But never got to Fiary Lake cuz, it was kind of pretty deep so I had to turned around go back the way we came in but not only that but cuz I was not sure if that is right away lol....due to my bad memory what my manger told me till I gave up and went to Borders where I work at... look up the map of what he showed me last time...sure enoug... now I undy why that I DID WENT THAT WAY!! Gosh, only 7 miles! Blah!! So will try again next time! It was so hot that day but damn so beatiful area.......sooooooo greeeeeeeeeeeen! Gosh!! Never seen such so beautiful since I last saw was in Idaho and Colorado long time ago!! Wow that long! Abt less than 20 yrs ago!! Geeez, can't believe that! :lol: Then later that nite, I stayed at my friend to play some games for while... She and I been out all day and again the next day 4th....

Finally, we went to the college "M", we started walking uphill...yikes, hard to walk up but then in just few second later got use to it but my friend did not lol so we walked slow and stop along the way.. easier for my friend... no plms so far.....took us abt 2 hrs to get to the "M" finally!!! Man, it was so damn hot but we have some water with us... we did enjoyed it very much cuz it was good day and guess what? Myself got sunburn.... on my upper back, both arms and front chest.... except little of my face that I had baseball cap on cuz of too much sun on my poor head that I tend to get headaches which it did, grrr!

Then, we came back to my home, I took a quick shower while my friend wash her face and arms... I felt fresh... feeling good but tired tho! Then later got sunburned... groan! NOt too bad tho lol... Went to see my hearing friend who worked at Borders too... for while, then went to store to buy something mom and I need then went to find a place to sit and watch the fireplaces!! Been long day and nite...till abt 11 pm finally fireworks came!! GRRRR supposied to be at 10:30 pm...damnit no!! Grrr but finally saw and it was awsome but last only 3o min, gosh!! Maybe cuz everyone has to work the next day, I guess, same for me too lol....

CAme home and my friend left for her home... checking my email then went to bed at midnite! Geez, I am so tired!! :lol:

All in all, I had a good time with my friend for the last 2 days!!

How abt u guys and gals??
 
my friends came my apt and had swimming pool and cook out.. we had blasted and we watched firework too.. smiles..
 
I had blast time to spending with my Sequoias on 4th of July ;) he and I went to Puget Sound aka "lake" to watching fireworks and went to eat the dinner at Ihop with his friend too. ;) I enjoyed that day with him :D
 
Judy, her hubby, their daughter and I went to her hubbys parents house. We had cook out, swimming (pool phucked up cuz the ground isn't level!), watched our own fireworks (even the neighbors did those too!) it was fun. We chatted and laughed. Food was good! Mmmm! I didn't go in pool cuz I knew the pool was phucked up! Oh well! Also water slide that hook up with air machine and water. Kids had sooooo much fun on it. I took pictures. Judys hubbys parent have 13 kids (one died at birth I think) and 24 grandkids! Not all of them attended the events. Anyway I enjoyed it! :)
 
No, I did NOT enjoy it at all. (Too long story here at the campground)

I was out of town for work and did saw some great and awesome fireworks with my co-workers and It was the best fireworks I've ever seen in a long run. I'm glad to see that some of you had a blast time on the 4th of July!

I had to work my buns off in a hot humid weather but not all that, we didn't have that much breaks because of the show being busy and customers never seem to go away for a while. :lol: But, we all had a time to watch the fireworks because all the lights and power were turned off during the fireworks and we couldn't be able to work without electricity. Thanks God we had some time to relax and enjoy the fireworks! ;)

Deafscuba, sean and I went to the parade then came home to relax for a while then we left to the park and lake to have picnic, played together, sean also played with kids at the park and watched fireworks. we had a wonderful time :)
 
Yea, I was enjoying myself on 4th of July, I went to Citizens Bank Park and watch Phillies take on Padres and we won!!! Then heading to Wachovia Center to watch ECW live show on Sci-Fi, RVD lost and suspened 30 days from WWE!!!!!
 
I was going to stand out in the open on shopping plaza to watch several fireworks at same time. but rain started raining sometime after fireworks started so I went back to my apt. There was a storm last night, (the beginning of monsoon season was already underway though) so I stood in patio and can't see any of those fireworks but I was able to enjoy the lighting/thunders works. That's why monsoon season is my favorite season during summer time. at least I did enjoy last night. oh before I forgot.. the only firework I actually watched was on TV eh...
 
4th July is not well-known here in Germany but I am on US public holiday because I work for US Government. The weather here is hot, so we went farm to pick stawberries up to make jams/jellies straight way and also make stawberry cake for our afternoon coffee... We sat outside of our garden to have our afternoon coffee and piece of stawberry cake...mmmhhh

Later I eat stawberries with top of ice cream... mmmhhh
 
I am glad u, guys, had a good time!!

Cheri, Glad u able to see fireworks on short break when the power go off due to that!! But hate when work on 4th of July! :lol: But at least u did see it!
