I have seen just about every prison doucementary and I have listened to both correctional guards and ex-cons themselves talk about their prison experiences. It is nothing like you will see in prison movies and the ones that are for doucementaries usually don't really show that much, just enough but if you really wanted to know what it is like. It is a war on the inside. I have been to jail overnight or in the county jail and in the city jails for a few nights. It is crazy. I saw a guy come in for DUI and he had just killed a whole family and then at night time. I could see him crying his eyes out then by daytime the whole prison was just very tense and alots of angry guys hated people who cried during the night time. They got in a very violent fight with that guy that went in for DUI and murder, manslaughter and various offenses, he hit a policeman because he flipped out he could not believe he killed a whole family and I don't blame him at all and he fought with the police. I don't think it was so much of resisting arrest but more of shock set in and he did not want to go to prison. I watched that guy for a few days and he turned into a very angry inmate in no time and pretty soon he was fighting everybody, basically taking on the whole prison and right before I left jail, I was in for stealing things when I was younger from the store, nothing too bad just for the weekend in jail. Before I left I saw that guy get thrown in the hole ( isolation ) and he was headed straight for the big house. ( Real big prison with razor wires, towers with police snipers and guard attack dogs, night time spotlights etc ) In a matter of a few days from Thrusday to Monday really, Tuesday morning 9 a.m. I got out. I basically saw that guy turn into one of the most dangerous inmates. The whole environment was very angry. I MEAN REALLY ANGRY !!!!!!!!
