Depressing threads?

No, the ignore function does not work to hide the thread titles. I tried it.

The thing that bothers me is that the people posting these kind of threads don't participate in discussions. They just post several threads of disturbing news each day. Many of these threads sink without comments. It would be more appropriate if these people created a blog here to post the information. Anyone suggested that to them? It's not silencing anyone but moving the info to a more appropriate place.
 
it isn't easy for some of us not to open it but it is too late. I am learning how to ignore it without reading and click it to get rid of this depressing and disturbing threads out of my sights in front of me when i want to read something else threads on AD. someone still continues to post it and i continue to click it to get rid of it to move on happy threads. oh gosh.

Family problems since my MIL´s grave removal and house. My hubby & his brother are consider to file a lawsuit against their father. We are very busy to empty the stuff at MIL´s house for a few days, where FIL gave his life estate up of MIL´s house property and seek a justice against him. I will make posts because I know that I owe ADers´ posts in several threads.

there is an explanation for all this, the recurring of such types of horror stories being picked and sent to here, or other forums websites... but it is beyond the scope of a single post so i am not going to bother to mention. All i can say, in a weird way i am more worried about reactions of the public to the 'information', put differently we might end up with a 'safe society' but in reality is more of a nightmare because everybody would be so brainwashed into doing nothing but conform - to me that is far more chilling....
