I was asked in another thread how I decorate my aids. I decided to start a new thread explaining what I do.
If you look at my avatar you will see an example of my BTE while decorated.
It is super easy to do. Start with a blank sheet of sticker paper. You can get this at an office or craft supply store, I suggest buying some where the entire page is one big sticker that you can cut up, instead of label paper which is already devided into smaller stickers. You can then use either a computer or some markers/crayons/pencil crayons to create a pattern, or solid colour on the sticker paper. Once you have a pattern or colour that you like on the sticker paper trace the hearing aid onto the paper. Cut it out and stuck it on. You can use the same sticker for a few days but you do eventually need to change it. The paper isn't sticky enough to leave a residue on the hearing aid, but it is strong enough to hold it on.
I am a respite worker and have been doing this with kids who wear aids for years. It makes them more fun! I decorate my aids all the time too! I don't see why this same idea can't work for a CI too!

It would be a good way of being able to immediately see which BTE is for the left ear and for the right ear.
I can't wait to get over with it. My husband will able to help me for business. I will keep this alldeaf member. I won't forget to give a pass to anyone if they want to see my jewelry pictures. I was a new at alldeaf. I think it's cool!
