They are still not certain that he won't require surgery. Traumatic brain injuries are serious stuff.

Yep. I would never consider brain swelling to be minor injuries. It can be fatal if it's not put under control ASAP.

Unnecesary force and a failure to exercise due caution. And according to the mayor, the police were disobeying the order to insure safety of all.

Um I was under the impression that the mayor is female but that's a minor quibble to the much more serious actions of the police vs the Oakland protesters and Scott Olsen.

It would be nice if the Oakland police are made an example here, to show that police officers in the United States are no longer above the law and that their reprehensible acts will no longer go unpunished.

We will see. . . .

You are unbelievable. Always looking for a way to blame the victim. :roll: Can't even be confirmed that this is the same Scot Olsen. And how about finding a credible source? Nothing more than hateful propoganda.

So what if he is an Iraq vet opposed to the war? There are many of them. Just as there are thousands of VietNam Vets that protested that war after returning home. After all, they had a first hand perspective of what was happening. After serving 2 tours I'd say his perspective is a hell of a lot more informed and justified than yours is.
