Berkshire Christian School will host inspirational speaker Sue Thomas at the annual Founders Dinner on Friday, Oct. 28.
Thomas is profoundly deaf and the inspiration for the popular Canadian-American TV series "Sue Thomas: F.B. Eye" that ran for three seasons. Thomas, a graduate of Springfield College who now lives in Vermont, was hired by the FBI to work in undercover surveillance reading lips for agents in Washington, D.C. Thomas speaks at Chrisitian and educational venues around the country.
The dinner is at 6:30 at the campus at 259 Kemble St. The event highlights the school’s mission of providing “an excellent education informed by the truth of Christ," and includes an appeal to supporters of Christian education in the Berkshires.

The school was established in 1981 and serves students in prekindergarten through 12th grade.
