Deaf students to give presentation at District 1 meeting, district, meeting, board - News - YumaSun
Students in the deaf, hard of hearing program at Desert Mesa Elementary School will be giving a presentation Monday at a Yuma Elementary School District governing board meeting.
The meeting will be held on Monday at 5:30 in the district administration office, 450 S. 6th St.
In other meeting news, District 1 will be awarded by APS for its participation in the utility's Peak Solutions Program. Chief financial officer Kerry Jones will give the board an update on enrollment and the budget.
Lastly, the board will consider to approve a 301 performance-based compensation plan and Duane Sheppard, associate superintendent of curriculum and instruction, will speak about math programs and Galileo testing.
