“Megan’s Star” will be performed Thursday through Sunday, Dec. 8 –11, by members of Harvest Baptist Church of the Deaf, students of Harvest Deaf Bible College, and students of Faith Christian School for the Deaf at Harvest Baptist Church of the Deaf at 1314 Old Three Notch Road in Ringgold.
The drama and music are performed in American Sign Language, and is voice-interpreted for the hearing.
This year’s drama marks the 10th anniversary of the performance of a Deaf Christmas Drama by the group. Past years have brought many local attendees, as well as those from as far away as Alabama, North Carolina, Virginia and Florida.
“Megan’s Star” focuses on a girl left in an orphanage at a young age by a single mother who couldn’t care for her, and the faith that kept Megan believing that her mother would one day return. It is a story of love, hope and faith that is sure to touch your heart.
Come early for a good seat and make the drama part of your Christmas tradition.
