WANE-TV Coverage You Can Count On: Deaf School receives national team of the year award
The wrestling team at the Indiana School for the Deaf has been named Team of the Year by DeafDigest Sports.
The Deaf Hoosiers were 17-and-one last season, the best record in school history, and won the National Prep Wrestling Tournament in California by beating six other deaf schools. Eleven Indiana Deaf wrestlers were named prep All-Americans.
