Munali Special Unit School for the deaf and blind has commended government for its support.
The school says it recieves a grant of K13 million every month.
Boarding Mistress, Lucia Zulu said the children at the school appreciate this support.
Ms. Zulu said this in Lusaka, when the Men's Christian Fellowship of Kabwata's Saint Pauls United Church of Zambia congregation visited the school to present a donation.
She said the children are able to have balanced meals because of the support from government.
Ms. Zulu however complained about the poor bedding facilities at the school.
The Men's Christian Fellowship donated assorted food items which included mealie meal, sugar, rice, potatoes, chickens and eggs among others, worth over one million Kwacha.
Fellowship Convener, David Mpundu said the donation was made possible through individual contributions from the members.
