Hi everyone,

I know some of you play the completely free web-browser based game QuakeLive. Quakelive in a nutshell is Quake 3 Arena that is completely playable through your web browser.

Quakenight ( Quake Night ) Co-owner Michael "gibz" Beck has offered us a private league dedicated to our community ( the deaf community )

How to join quakenight deaf league –
You have to be deaf/hard of hearing to participate the Deaf QuakeNight League

We will have to communicate on videophone so that prove you are deaf before I approved you in Deaf league.

To sign up please contact gibz or myself (ackshun) on a free program called "mIRC" on the server irc.gamesurge.net in channel #quakenight

after you are on irc.gamesurge.net you simply type /join #quakenight and then simply double click one of our names to send a private message

another form of acceptable communication is through email

this league can not happen unless we have as many people as we can possibly get
So weather you play Quakelive or any other game, or don't even play games at all, you should contact one of us and sign up today

Lets rally together and show the world how big the deaf gaming community really is !

As of right now this will be the first league supporting hearing impared gamers - let's show the world what we are made of, the bigger the responce the more gibz and quakenight have agreed to give us in the future.

I am fan of DOOM and Quake for console only.. Honestly, I haven't ANY experience to play the high end-games on PC.. :(
 
Honest with you this Quake game is old, like 5 years ago. Nobody wants to play. Last year I installed Quake 4 for PC and enter multiplayer and surprised that NOBODY in there.

Quake 4 came out in 2005 so only 4 years old.

Some of my friends still play via online sometime but most of Quake hardcore are playing Quake Wars Enemy Territory than Quake 4 does.
 
Quakelive is actually Quake III Arena :) Man, I used to play Quake III Arena on pc alot. I used to run a team on that and used to have a website for the team when I ran 4 servers for xXx. It got old to me as I moved on now tho. Is there still alot of people playing Q3?
 
yeah i have played quake 3 too. i have been started playing doom then quake 1, 2 3 and 4

But the quakelive is all different, it is tweaked, different settings of weapon damages.

for ie. railgun is 100 dmg in q3, but it is 80 dmg.

im in clandemised.org completion with Pros such as clan knightmare, lightsout, silent service, etc
