Deaf performing artist to appear at MacMurray
Deaf performing artist Peter Cook will perform a one-man show at 7:30 p.m. Monday at MacMurray College in Jacksonville.
“A Feast for the Eyes: An Evening of ASL Storytelling” incorporates American Sign Language, pantomime, storytelling and movement. Cook lives in Chicago and teaches at Columbia College.
The show will be in Bailey Auditorium in the Julian Hall of Chemistry, located on Clay Avenue south of Beecher Avenue.
Admission is free.
