In Spain, a company presented a new innovation in sound systems, "Thunderbox" an elevated power and bandwith enable this new system to allow deaf people to experience music.

Even those people who have lost all of their hearing can enjoy new sensations through electrodynamic motors that can be used with any surface translating sound to tactile signals and emitting audio-sensation.

Thunderbox is considered a professional system which will also be of interest to musicians and to those those people with total lost of auditory and who are interested in learning to play music.

I bought one and it is true!! Amazing Sensations while you hear (for HH) and feel the music, movie, games (ps2, xbox, etc)... etc... Even the hearing people say WOW.

sounds like something i read in the paper a couple of weeks ago,but what i read is different thing cos you cant buy it yet ,sony has bought the patent holder out

This is an interesting read to say the least. As a musician myself, it is hard to imagine a life without music. Please pardon my ignorance, but do hearing aids not help to hear at least a little? In my training course for my relay job, our deaf culture teacher signed that she uses and hearing aid, and enjoyed listening to jazz and blues.
