Deaf/mute teen charged with molesting boy, 3 - News
Police arrested a 13-year-old boy who is deaf and cannot speak and accused him of performing a sexual act on a younger child, reports show.
The identity of the boy charged with a felony, lewd and lascivious molestation, was redacted off a police report released Monday.
According to the report, on May 31 a 7-year-old cousin saw the 13-year-old with his underwear pulled down lying on top of the 3-year-old boy, who also had his underwear pulled down, in a bedroom.
The cousin left the room but did not report what she saw, police said.
After the bedroom incident, the cousin entered a bathroom and found the 13-year-old boy touching the younger child again. That's when the 7-year-old told an adult, police said.
