Deaf kids to get financial aid for treatment, IBN Live News
Kerala Social Welfare Minister M K Muneer today said the government was formulating a scheme by which deaf children below the age of three would be given financial assistance of upto Rs five lakh for expert treatment. Inaugurating the interuniversity Centre for Disability Assessment and Rehabilitation Centre here, Muneer said a year 200 children will get the assistance as per the treatment scheme. He said children will get the result of the treatment through early detection of the defect.
