greetings everyone. my name is soleil and i'm relatively new to this area. i moved to phoenix from new orleans last december. i'm hearing but am going to school studying to become an interpreter. obviously the best way to learn is by immersing oneself in the culture, and i read that "deaf awareness month" is coming up soon? so i was wondering if there are any deaf communities and/or if there are any upcoming deaf-related events around here?
