SalemNews.com, Salem, MA - Deaf clients still waiting to return to damaged home
More than 60 deaf and deaf-blind senior citizens are counting the days until they move home again, two months after the Danversport explosion displaced them from the New England Homes for the Deaf.
The tentative return date is Jan. 22, exactly two months after the Thanksgiving Eve blast, according to trustee Stephen Sacco, who said countless volunteers, interpreters and donors have made this time as livable as possible.
