Is there really no place on IRC like AllDeaf? A channel/server for mostly deaf people?

Hi, welcome to alldeaf.com... AllDeaf used to have chat (IRC) but, it was discontinued some years ago.

You could try DeafZone.com - they have IRC. I do not know of any more, but members here like Boult probably can be more of help in recommending you to several IRC for the deaf.

EDITED: If you are interested in non-IRC chat for the deaf - try DeafChat.com.
