THE only deaf and blind priest in the world is to visit Glasgow today.
Father Cyril Axelrod, who has a ministry at Westminster Cathedral, is coming to Scotland to promote disability rights.
His visit has been organised by Glasgow charity Deafblind Scotland, as part of Deafblind awareness week.
The South African, who speaks 15 languages, will be speaking at the charity's annual forum today.
The charismatic priest was born deaf and later lost his sight as a result of a genetic condition called Usher Syndrome.
