Dangers of CI !

I might be ready for a CI in a couple months, and I have a ton of questions. I'll cruise the message boards for answers before posting them, though.

At the end of the video, the man was dumping his CI device in the trashcan, he said that he wanted to continue using ASL. He was implying that having CI was barring him from using ASL.
 
When he was signing he was hitting people and knocking things over, then he saw an ad for a CI, I thought the video would go a different direciton, I thought he'd start speaking and still cause trouble ( for example, he'd say hello to some one in the park and scare all the birds away, or shatter windows or go skiing and cause an avalanche. ) but what do I know about funny?
