Dangerous police chase on Gulf Fwy

Geez!

They already knew who the guy was. Why didn't they back off and get the guy later?

Why did they have to put so many people in harms way.

They were fortunate that more did not get injured.

I thought the police were suppose to call off chases like that. And arrest him later.

If my memory serves me correctly - some towns in UK do that and some cities in USA do that too. Since this happened in Houston - what they should have done is let the helicopter chases him and create roadblock ahead of him. oh well....

Road blocks? He would probably crash through them.

But spike strips is a whole different ball game. :cool:
