Dangerous lack of mental health care

I gotta ask you, seriously. How hard is to google APA and find the correct answer?

pffffft. If you want someone's credibility, ask some hard questions.

Like ... oh, I don't know .... how would you cite an author in APA format?

I guess knowing the secret acronym for APA is the end all be all for you .... its really pitiful.

Still going back and modifying posts after they have been replied to, huh?

Looks obvious that you still don't know the answer.

Seriously, you need to stop. I'm starting to feel bad about battling a completely unarmed opponent.

I am not unarmed.

Just give me the name of the individual that every first year psychology student studies that lobotomized himself in an accident.

BTW, I have known what APA stands for, for quite some time - I studied at two different Universities.

There are people on this very forum whom attended one of those universities with me. Just a hint :giggle:

Two different uni's, huh? Did the first one throw you out for failing to research your topic prior to opening your mouth?

Evidently, hints are not something you are very good at. Several people have given you hints in this thread that you are walking into territory you shouldn't be, and you just keep ignoring them and making a fool of yourself.

BTW...how many degrees are the result of having studied at 2 different universities? Did you even achieve an Associate's level?

Darlin' I teach Psych 101.

I studied at six universities and I work for private college. just had to throw it out there because I'm having a Napoleon Complex

I also was a teacher

except I taught reading comprehension.

How can you teach what you don't have? BTW, I'm not a teacher. I am a professor, among other things.

And I answered your challenge in a PM to someone reading this thread. Just so you know, I answered the question immediately. I just refuse to be manipulated by someone so unskilled at it.

Totally went right over your head.

If you want to establish credibility with someone, ask them a question they would know ONLY if they actually studied the context. Not some silly question they could quickly dart off to google and find.

That's childs play.

ok. I think it's time we all end this farce, yes? let's us have some ESPN playback.

1. Jillio is asking you which APA you are referring to (link). a simple question.

2. You answered - DSM-IV

3. DSM-IV is not the right answer.

4. ... and then it turned into food fight

Yeah...and the quote you just used....that wasn't his origninal post. He keeps going back and changing them. I replied to the original one so it is still in the thread.

if Jillio knew about the DSM-IV, she would know which APA I was referencing to.

I don't play games. Only one APA wrote the DSM-IV.

I will give you a very big clue. All you have to do is type "DSM-IV" into google and ...voila .... the super secret acronym is revealed ... like (gasp!) ... magic.

Google "The Internet Magician"

this is way outta my head and I only took PYSCH 101

Your beef's with Jillio and I'm just giving you the playback in order to get this thread back on back.

6?????? What a LOSER. you know I am kidding

Mine was from two. Left the first after the funeral/grade dispute situation......But I told you about that already

Now, getting back to the original point I was making .... which agency established a "normal" pattern of medicating kids with ritalin?

What year did it become illegal for teachers to "prescribe" ADD/ADHD medication for their students?

How many children, in your state, are currently on Ritalin?

Last I checked in my area, 3 in 5 students had ADD/ADHD and parents were told to give their kids this drug.

lol sorry but never heard of MSG network. Google says it's sport channel? If it is - no wonder. I rarely watch sports in tv. I hardly watch tv as well - probably less than 5 hrs a week.

Actually, more than one APA contributed to the DSM. Members of both of the APAs are contributing authors, and the publication committee contains members of both. The APA did not write the DSM. (Any of the DSM's).

So, all you have been doing is attempting to Google to find answers. As I suspected. I smell a big fat fraud.

BTW...the DSM-IV is not in use anymore, and hasn't been for several years. You need to get up to date.
