I'm going upgrade the CPU from Core 2 Duo to Core 2 Quad after delivery from UPS today and I'm realized the Intel Core 2 series (after 2006) has no pin so I just opened my case and check it as practice before I start put Core 2 Quad in. It is very easily to insert without worry about get bend like happened to Pentium 4 in past, when pin is bend so it is no good, PC won't start up so I had learned my lesson about not force into socket.
Have you forced the CPU into socket before when it was first time and don't know how to handle it?
It is nice about recent Intel CPU has no pin.
