Court: Human genes cannot be patented

I agree with them too. It would be like trying to patent the observation of a pine tree. I think if they have a unique process of extracting the genes they should be able to patent that. Something that they created but I don't see how observations are patentable.

and I hope they dont bloody patent on modified genes though
