This one. Like living in the Matrix!

I remember Trash computer on cover of CPU (Computer Power User) magazine few years. I love mods!

I really enjoyed the showcase. I like the aquarium.

I like modded CPU. I once found one very harlious modded system by using spray-on Insulation foam. The guy use old P3 mobo and he wired everything up including power supply, hard drive, and cdrom drive without case. What he did is to spray on the mobo then let it dry a bit then stack it up with hard drive, powersupply and cdrom. He did made a holes for cooling purpose then topped it off with a metal handle. No screw or any support frames except insulation foams. Website no longer there.

Also I saw on website that College girl modded it using Taxderm animal like Beaver, gutting the inner foam out and slip in mobo and drive inside. Then on the front of Beaver, it may look normal but when ejecting cdrom drive, the door with fur on top will flip down and tray slide out. Beaver's eye lit on and other eye blink for drive status. Neato!! Smart design!!

I already modded the hard drive many years ago (learned from one of the hard drive modding website) by removing the cover and using cut-out see through plastic cover and soldered yellow LED to wire and rigged it inside in a way LED shine the light at drive platters.

I tested it and it was waaayyy far out cool!! The LED light strobe while arm was flicking at a high speed and flashes on side of the case through the "glass" on hard drive. it was very mesmerizing. Without flashing LED strobe, you can't really see the drive's arm move cuz it moves like a blur. Later I accidently dropped the drive while swapping it. The drive went bad because the speck of plastic dust from previous cutting fell on drive platter and it damaged it.

Google Team built a nice Google's gOS modded case good for kids. I saw pictures of each steps how they put together. So it's basically a metal dome and two boards sandwitched on bottom and using ITX mainboard (17mm x 17mm), hard drive under the dome. Here's the website for a pix of Android G2 modded case (green case)
Here's the pix how they did it.

You can be very creative modding your case. It'll be great if you have good working old system which is enough to run network ect and for decoration for kid's room to conceal system.
