He is on leave for two weeks. now he has to complete his service in Afghanistan

My point is as I said. People complain about the expenses of war.

and the current administration is continuing to do so.

Which is more senseless than the first one.

That's about $140 billion dollars a year for our war which is about 7% of our tax revenues each year....off hand. Not much.

In terms of GDP, it was between 12 to 14 trillion dollars (over the 7 years since 2008 is 14.3 trillion) which means the war each year account for about 1% of the GDP.

That is the way you look at it. Mine is this...
The Federal Pie Chart

To be specific....

My common sense questions is How patriotic are you if you do not follow what your president say....

Bush is bashed for the war in Iraq.....

Who will be bashed for the war in Afghanistan?

Regardless of political groups.. They are all the same.

Doing what people want at the time...Opps.. regardless of the consequences.

So you can not just blame one person in the political issues

Oh right.. People voted on them majority of the time.

And yet, it's strangely quiet from people who protested the war in Iraq/Afghanistan during the Bush administration but hardly a peep today in the MSM. That just screams "hypocrites!"

Are you or are you not for the reduction of the Federal debt? Tell me, why is it ok now to have an extra $2 trillion dollar running deficit in 6 months time while it was not ok for Bush to have a running deficit of $480 billion dollars in 2008?

Either you are for the reduction of the Federal debt or you are not. Fiscal responsibility should be the one of the core responsibility in the Federal govt.
