hey im Bri, college student from chicago. I have always been deaf and never really used ASL. My parents did not sign, but my brother did so I by no means look like a native ASL user. I do not really have a connection with deaf culture. I would like to meet new people here and maybe more specifically college students would be most appreciated.

Hi Bri! I'm CJ. I too am a deaf (actually hoh in my case) from birth college student who doesn't really sign. My parents did their best to cover it up when I was a kid, so nobody ever taught me to sign and I just don't have time to take a class on it now on top of my college classes.

There are a lot of Deaf events in CHicago areas. You'll get immersed rather quickly. Have fun.
