College student-- first semester of ASL!

Hi, everyone!

My name is Kristen and I'm a communicative disorders major with an emphasis on speech-language pathology and audiology at Northern Illinois University. This is my first semester of learning ASL-- I am so excited! I've wanted to learn ASL since I was little and learned about it on Sesame Street. :)
I thought joining AllDeaf.com would be a great way of learning and understanding norms within the culture and language and get some better perspective!
