also, Tiger is deaf, they've been waiting a long time to get the adoption done~~~~

and Hello to my friends on AllDeaf!!!!I am so sorry I haven't been on. We just got word late last week that we can adopt our Foster son Tiger as of Monday, March 13th!!!!! I was so excited as we waited 3 and one half years for this day to come!!!!! We finally made it to Court on Monday, March 13th at 2:00PM, the Judge allowed the adoption to happen and I am so happy to say that we now have a son named Thomas Jackson Roderiques. Thomas was so happy to be adopted!!!! The Judge we had was so nice. Now, it feels so wonderful to have a son now!!!!
My husband and I would like to take this opportunity to "THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH" from the bottom of our hearts for all your kind, encouraging words. All the support and love you have shown me towards Tiger.
Again I am so sorry for not being on Alldeaf, and hopefully now things will be calmer where I can be on more.
Roadrunner, thank you so much for creating this thread for us, and thinking of us on the adoption of our son. It's a strange and wonderful feeling to call him our son now, and to also call him Thomas. At the same time, we feel so blessed by God that Thomas came into our lives several years ago.
I love you all for being the wonderful people that you all are. You all have been so fantastic to me. I will never, never forget all the kindness you all have shown me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank God as we waited so long, and had been postponed twice, and finally happened on Monday. Thank you so much DeafMonkey!!!!

It was getting so hard to handle, because I wasn't sure it was going to happen, and now it finally has and I HAVE A SON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The son I never had!!! My dear friend BabyAngel!!! I cannot thank you enough for allowing me to vent out my feelings to you. It helped a lot when I really thought it would end up taking longer, but, like everyone here, you helped me to realize that it would happen and that I just had to be patient.
