CNN in last place

Must be lonely over in politics land. This topic seems out of place. Nobody to play with? Throw the ball over into Johnny's yard to get his attention?

Anyhow, I prefer to read my news. I don't have to wait 3 minutes while advertisers bombard me with inane messages. I just scroll down the middle of the webpage.

Also, good observation on Larry King. :roll: He has been doing that job since you were a little boy. He has earned my respect.

Well, that's nice if you like a guy whose is famously known to never preps for interviews and is out of touch with reality. Ever hear of the Seinfeld interview? I suppose you haven't else you'd realize that he never use the internet back a few years ago. Or how he asked the same questions over and over about Heath Ledger's death at a panel? And somehow always ask really odd if not dumb questions. Seems cruel that CNN keeps him around like that. It's time he enjoy his retirement. I think he earned that already.

I steer away from most of your topics because there is no way ANYTHING you say will ever change my opinion; in fact, I would take the other side 100% of the time, just to spite you. Instead, I choose to ignore you. I have put up the deflector shields on your words, and your opinions mean NOTHING to me. If I want to hear what you have to say, I can turn on Foxes news, Rush Limbaugh, or any of the other hate mongers. You are just a puppet of their views; a parrot. Now go back to the political sandbox. I like the peace and quiet over here.

Well, the subject is about Larry King (via CNN). He's a bit daffy and needs to retire (a long time ago). *shrugs*

It's rather simple, just put me on ignore and stop the mewling fer cryin out loud.

They both could retire. Neither of them would ever go broke. Why does Bill Gates work? Why do any billionaires bother to report to a job? Many probably would say they enjoy what they do.

I can only assume that Larry King enjoys making his millions from CNN, the last place news source. Why? Because he can.

I still think this topic belongs in the TV and media section....Just saying.

You ignored it the first time around, so I'll ask again. What exactly does his appearance or his age have to do with his journalistic abilities? He works for CNN as a journalist, not a model.:roll:

But, leave it to you to resort to low blows that are totally unrelated to the topic. Its the only thing you can come up with. Don't have anything of substance. It is like listening to a kid in the third grade on the playground.
 
CNN has become more and more "info-tainmnet." The other day Wolf Blitzer was babbling about attending some star studded opening. What a waste of time. I guess that 24 hours is a lot of time to fill.

More and more, I rely on the intertubes for my news. Written articles are far more detailed and informative. I'm a really fast reader and it's easier for me.

Yep. Even CNN has had to start adapting to what the public wants. Opinion and entertainment. It is sad, really.
 
This is how people must to adapt new technology. Fail to do it, then left behind along in dark world.
I prefer BBC over anything. I used to read the news from Yahoo but Yahoo is so annoying when it pull up too much news on my RSS feed.
I remembered teachers or staff watching O.J Simpson trial and Desert Storm war on CNN back in elementary school.
