Sorry if there's another thread like this, I tried a search and didn't find anything.
Is there any sort of campaign going on to promote the closed captioning of media such as youtube (ok that may be hard to do, but should be done for really popular videos) and ESPECIALLY news clips?
I have never seen a news clip that was downloadable from the Internet which had closed captioning attached. I use Windows Media Player to watch my DVDs on my computer so I know it is possible to put in actual closed captioning or at least subtitles.
If not, we should start one.
