I'm floored that Clint Eastwood, after his Oscar night wins for "Million Dollar Baby", is going to bring his famous character, San Francisco Detective "Dirty Harry" Callahan to the PS2/PS3, xbox/xbox Next and perhaps the PC.

The grizzled 74-year old will provide his trademark growling wisecracks alongside the action and the game should feature locations from the first film in 1971 to The Dead Pool from 1988 which was mostly played for laughs. However there’s plenty of guts, gore and action along the way if they get the balance right and in a market where The Punisher has recently made the same move, it’ll be interesting to see how the game performs.

WOW.... It was the Godfather coming to the consoles, then Scarface (the 1983 version) , and now Dirty Harry?! It seems the older movies are ripe for video game materials this year!

Here's a classic Dirty Harry line....

oh oh! That actually sounds cool! I could go for a good shoot 'em up game! :lol:

I hope it comes out on PC. I really do!! :mrgreen:
