Those were not classified and sensitive. They were the truth of what happened and the role that Bush and his administration played in it.

I'm afraid it is. What Obama did is a very serious breach of national security. It jeopardizes our ability to combat terrorism that people do not understand. All Obama Administration had to say is that it does not believe in using aggressive interrogation tactics. He did not have to continue to rub Bush's nose on the whole issue and keep spotlight shining on him.

Did Bush Administration do same to Clinton Administration by finger-pointing at Clinton for creating a massive security hole? :nono:

President Obama - please focus on combating the terrorism, not finger-pointing and blaming. :ty: Obviously - Obama and Bush have different way in handling the terrorism. Bush did his and now Obama need to do his. I have yet seen anything that Obama has done to tackle this issue.

and why did Obama suspend the trials? :hmm:

What has that got to do with due process? That was denied under the Bush administration, and had long since been in existence. Even if Obama had sent them all to trial the day he took office, due process would have still been denied as a result of the amount of time passed.

I'm sorry but is there a law regarding terrorist's rights? can you kindly point it out for me?

What? Are you functioning under the mistaken impression that terrorist activities are legal?

The Geneva Convention is not the only law on the books regarding terrorism. Methinks you are the one confused, or you would not have asked if there is a law on terrorism. And there are numerous laws on the way we are and are not permitted to treat those we have imprisoned.

I agree something needs to be done with terrorist.

And I have to say. No one really knows how to handle them.

Kamikaze... They will die before they speak.

Bingo. Dying under tortorous conditions only makes their action that more pleasing to Allah. They consider it an honor.

and I gave you a hint because you seems to confuse terrorists with common criminals. Of course Geneva Convention is not the only law in the book but it's to steer you into right direction. You responded "Right to Due Process - exactly!"

so can you kindly point it out for me which and what laws that deals with terrorists?

When we put them in a prison, they become prisoners. Right to due process is afforded to all accused. All is a pretty encompassing term, Jiro. I think we can assume that ALL means that terrorists would be included in there. After all, there have been numerous terrorists arrested and tried in this country, and they were afforded due process under that good ole word "all".

 Sorry to find humor in this. But reminds me of that comic... With the puppets he has.

About dying, with so many virgins awaiting.

Can not seem to think of the comics name.

On a serious note....
I still stand, on the fact that no one actually knows how to handle the accused.. Due to America is so threaten by the terrorist.

That's okay. You got the sarcasm.

a very passionate compassion you have there. but unfortunately - the terrorists do not care. btw - here's a big difference... domestic terrorist is not the same as foreign terrorist.

how do you exactly compile the evidence and testimony when it's in foreign country who, most of time, refuses to cooperate with us? Again - you still have not shown me any laws such as "rights to due process" and related for terrorists.

Bingo? Bingo what? Her post validated my post, not yours... in case you're having trouble understanding this gray issue.

Nor did I ever say that "terrorists" had the right to due process. I said those suspected of and imprisoned for crimes had the right to due process. Terrorism is a crime. Terrorists become prisoners. Prisoners have the right to due process under the laws of this land.

Are you having difficulty reading tonight, Jiro?
