Once in a while, I would get chest pain from the left side of my left breast.....since I was diagnosed with mild MVP (mitral valve prolapse) when I was 21 (also have Bicuspid aortic valve which isn't bad either), I wonder if this caused it. I have no other symptoms except for mild chest pain (doesn't hurt bad but there is pain for just a few seconds). That or I am getting my period again since breast pain is common.
How can someone tell which is which? I knew that if you actually having a heart attack, it is more than just mild to moderate chest pain for a few seconds occasionally and that's it.....it's worse that that. I haven't had that problem.
Here's are good sites I am currently looking at about Chest Pain:

I know with men, chest pain is always the first indicator of a heart attack....but with some women, there are no chest pain and they were having one!! Then I read that other women do have some discomfort and still have heart attacks. Confused yet? I am!
