Chabad Jewish Community Center of Riverside is hosting a challah-making workshop for the deaf Thursday night.
The workshop begins at 7 p.m. at the Chabad center, 3579 Arlington Ave., Suite 100, Riverside.
Instruction on how to make the traditional Jewish braided bread will be presented in American Sign Language. The workshop will include a dough demonstration, braiding instruction and presentation ideas. Participants can take home a challah to bake and will receive a challah recipe booklet.
