Well, My neurosuregon want to try other alternative thing.. so Hes reffering me to a doctor who will be doing some Injections with coristones into my neck.. (maximum of 3 times).. If no improvements or etc, then I go back to see him, He will order myleogram dye cat scan test to "determine" more specifics in my spinal cords.. so welll, I will know more when this happen after the shots, does it get improve ? does it go away for LONG time ? etc... I just hate hate this damn thing that is so Annyoying to me even when Im not having pain, it's just a HEAVY HEAVY HEAVY tingling feeling ALLOVER from Tip of my fingers to elbows that also "affects" me to Itches my fingers/Arm argh!
but then again, good luck with your surgery, I hope you will have Less pain, and less problems too
Sound like you have similar situation as my ex husband used to have. It's called cortisone shot. He had two crushed disc and one rupture disc on his back (lumber disc). The cortisone shots has limited three times only. Before that, he has very bad nerve attack that went down to his leg causing back problem. Same as you mentioned you have a heavy tingling feeling but he was in pain tho. That's because depend on where the bad disc was. Anyway ... at first cortisone shot (without ultra sound), he was told to be bed rest for three days. Nope he was up and go and go because he felt better .... wellllll boom he got pain again. Shame on him for not listen to doctor. He went second cortisone shot and this time with ultra sound so that doctor can see the bad disc very clear to give shot into. He was bed rest for three days and then he felt better for a long long time. He doesn't need third cortisone shot. Whew. He was able to carry heavy things now days. That surprised me. So when you are planning to have cortisone shot .. make sure you'll be bed rest for at least three days and don't move much. Also ask doctor if he/she will use ultra sound because that would be VERY helpful. Hopefully the information I have would ease your worrisome. Keep me update. Good Luck!
