Central Institute for Deaf names president | St. Louis Business Journal
The Central Institute for the Deaf named former Belden President and Chief Executive C. Baker Cunningham its new board president.
He succeeds Ralph Kalish Jr., who stepped down as president but remains on the board.
The CID also appointed five new members to its board: Stacey Blackmon, vice president for sales for Integrated Behavioral Health; Frank Childress, managing director of Equity Services Group for Wells Fargo Advisors; Robin Hattori, assistant director for the Gephardt Institute for Public Service at Washington University; Stephen Lewis, assistant vice president of the Associated General Contractors of St. Louis; and Jada Reese, director of diversity and inclusion for Express Scripts.
The Central Institute for the Deaf prepares children with hearing loss to participate and succeed in mainstream educational settings. CID is financially independent from, but closely affiliated with, Washington University School of Medicine.
