Cellphone & Bed Shaker

hi guys! I'm new to this forum. I'm a college student living at apartment. It's becoming a problem for me so I will need some advices from you guys.

here's a problem I'm having - I have a very erratic sleeping cycle so I pretty much fall asleep in any hour. so while i'm sleeping, my friends or family members won't be able to contact me. I know there's a bed shaker with a built-in telephone signaler however I only have cell phone and i don't want to pay more for telephone line. is there any device out there that will alert me (via bed shaker) if it hears my cell phone ringing??

yes it has vibrate but it's not strong enough and I move around while sleeping so I'm looking for more reliable solution.

I don't quite see where it said that bed shaker device can be connected to this appliance.

You just have to find a 120v bedshaker, something like UTSS 120V Heavy Duty Bed Vibrator.

While the picture doesn't show me the back of the alarm clock, I assume this alarm clock includes a RJ-11 phone jack, right? What about the 1/8th phone plug for the cell phone? Or does this alarm clock detect the cellphone's ringer?

Oooh, that is interesting! I also will be living in a campus apartment residence and did not want to pay $40 a month just to have landline phone that rings loud enough to alert me. I was thinking of getting cell phone or something like the BlackBerry/Treo/Sidekick.

Correct me if I am wrong, but does one put the phone/PDA on "ring" and as long as it is either on top or beside that transmitter it will alert you?

My next question is, how does something like this work with the other kinds of alerting systems like these?
