Celebrate Christmas with "Signing Santa" at Deaf Club - FOX19.com and FOX19 News, weather, traffic, and sports for Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky |
Community Services for the Deaf (CSD) will celebrate Christmas with a "Signing Santa" for Deaf and hard of hearing children.
Breakfast with "Signing Santa" is free. The event will take place on Saturday, December 11 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Greater Cincinnati Deaf Club located at 3938 Spring Grove Avenue.
"This event allows Deaf children to communicate directly with Santa using sign language. Last year it was a huge success and the children truly enjoyed themselves," said Laurie Burman, CEO & President of The Hearing Speech & Deaf Center of Greater Cincinnati.
Other activities include a free breakfast, holiday crafts for the kids and signing carolers.
