CC decoder Box for HDMI/Compement

Now it's time to bring back CC box (closed captions decoder) for HDMI/Compement HDTVs.

All HDTVs running with HDMI/Compement will not display any shows with CC.

I know Cable box for HD has CC decoder... but what about dvd player with HDMI/compement? I am sure all those players doesn't have cc decoder.

You don't need it for BD cuz all BD movies are SDH supported.
 
It is frustrating when I can't watch cc only DVDs on the TV downstairs (50' Plasma), and I have to watch them on my 20' SDTV.
I am appaled that HD technology has moved on and ignored us who need captioning.

Did you use component or HDMI cable to watch DVD? If so then need use composite or S-Video to get CC support on DVD.

Only way to hook up component that will provide CC. Not HDMI. It happened to my HDTV. Let you know. I hooked up component and hdmi on one player for backup. For example, when i put dvd movie in player with hdmi on video 4. CC doesnt not appear, so i switch to video 3 with component. That will be helpful than you doing on the back is pain in the neck.

CC isn't work via component cable on my HDTV when watch on DVD movies then I was pissed off.

I hate to watch movies in 480i, all shitty and generate of 240p, that where other lines are added.
 
PS3 new version firmware upscale DVD into HD which pictures look almost 1080p! I can see the amazing picture running DVD on PS3 using HDMI. Still no Captions!!!! GRRRRRRRRR! I am forced to use my dvd player with s video to my HDTV. Pictures quality are okay but not that great as it was when playing on PS3! We do really need CC decoder box for HDMI/Compment so we can use DVD running on HDMI with high quality pictures.
