Carbon monoxide is a colorless, odorless gas produced by burning material containing carbon. CO poisoning can cause brain damage and, in severe cases, death. You can't see it, smell it, or taste it, but carbon monoxide can kill you...

How Many of you have a Carbon Monoxide detectors? if you have it how many do you have in your home on each level of your home?

I have a carbon monoxide detector in my house.

I think all of house and apt -- ofc hotels should have it so I have it here :)
 
:P I don't have one here at home -- I reckon it's a good idea to have one...will have a talk with hubby and see what he says about purchasing one. ;) Good thread, Cheri! :thumb:
 
Yes, I have three of them actually , 2 plugs one and one detector ...

I don't have one either But, I am going to Buy a few in my New Home that I am moving into the Mid of May..and Thank you! :ily:

Do you have a garage that is attached to the house and you park your car in it?

If so, then you should get a detector because of the fumes that come from the car if it's left on in the garage.

LOL @ you guys!! No we dont have a garage, just a double car carport not attached to the house..

Very interesting thread...

I have electric glass plate & also oven, too...

I don´t have gas in the house but oil to use hot water & heaters...

I have special room for oil at basement with little window accord enviroment law.

I use woods to fire at fireplace to warm the rooms up... (I have 1 fireplace & 1 tiled stove).

The inspectors come to check our house to make sure if everything okay due enviroment law twice a year including chimeny sweeping inspector, too...

Germans law are very strictly about the healthy & enviroment situation...
