Canadians

She sits under the crowd
Her arms wrapped around her abdomen
She whispers a silent prayer
Thanking the lord for peace

He stands out in the crowd
His arms waving in the air
He shouts in such foul language
Loathing the politicians

She stands form afar
Her hands in her pockets
She smiles at the joy she embraces
Loving her country

He sits and votes once again
His head resting against the desk
He smiles at democracy
Loving his country

The Canadian flag
They both salute
The American flag
They both turn

I think thats really well written. I think perhaps our democracy has desecrated the meaning of "America." I really like your writing!
