Hi!

I tried posting an introduction, twice, and it says it needs to be approved but otherwise I've been able to create and post a thread... I'm confused.

That's ok. You are in good company. Many of us are confused also. :wave:
 
The thing is... I'm tired of trying to introduce myself knowing it probably won't show up... This is very frustrating.
 
The mods have to approve the initial post. They probably have just not been here yet. After that you should have no problem. (It is my understanding that this is done this way to prevent spammers from spamming all over the forum.)
