California Kitchen Pizza

Yup, I just ate there last Monday in Orem, Utah. Really good food! I am not impressed with the one in SLC though.

I haven't tried that pizza at California Kitchen Pizza, they have one here in Seattle so far I saw when passing by.

I bought some boxes of frozen California Kitchen Pizza from store.

And last night I burnt one of them, but it still tastes good.

I found some frozen CKP at Wal-Mart. Wasn't bad. Cost about 50% more than Tombstone.

Yeah, you should burnt yours up too, cause I think it taste better that way too.

I was watching foodnetwork last Saturday because it was Pizza and Pasta weekend. California Pizza Kitchen was one of them. It looks very appealing, but I can't get over the idea about putting scrambled eggs and bacon on the pizza. I'm gonna try it someday.

Wow, scrambled eggs on pizza?
Sound good.

I did called Papa John Pizza place...
trying to ask if they put mayo and mustard
on pizza? Cause I saw on Papa John in New York
put mayo and mustard...

but that guy said "No we don't put mayo and mustard on pizza!!!"
and he hang up on me.

Vegetable Pizza
Ingredients:

2 cans cresent rolls
2 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
1 cup mayonaise
1/2 tsp onion salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dill weed
*green pepper, diced
*cucumber, finely diced
carrots, shredded
onion, chopped fine
tomato, chopped fine
cauliflower, chopped
broccoli, chopped
celery, chopped fine
olives chopped
8 oz cheddar cheese, grated

The starred (*) vegetables are a must use.

Instructions:
The vegetables should equal 4 cups total and can be any that you wish from the above selection or you may use your discretion in choosing others to use.

Unroll the cresent rolls and place in a 15 x 10 inch pan and press in place, sealing edges. Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 10 - 12 minutes. Let cool. Cream together cream cheese and mayonaise and the seasonings. Spread the mixture on the cooled crust all the way to the edges. Press vegetables into cream cheese mixture and top with grated cheddar cheese. Cut into 1 x 2 inch squares and serve.

I do eat at CKP sometimes, whenever I'm near the locations (Atlanta, Charlotte and Indianapolis).

The frozen pizza by CKP is made by Kraft Foods, not CKP. They're OK.

Miss*Pinocchio - I've heard that CKP was checking out WolfChase Galleria in Memphis for a possible CKP location. I don't know whatever happened to the one in Chattanooga, they probably have left Tennessee? Chattanooga is/was the only place in Tennessee that had CKP.

TweetyBird - since you plan to be in Atlanta in April, maybe you and your friend(s) can try CKP pizza at the CKP restaurant in Buckhead (North Atlanta) either at the Lenox Square Mall or at the Pidemont Mall. Both are easy accessed by riding on the subways and buses from College Park (South Atlanta) where DeafNation Expo will be held! :)

I just tried California Pizza Kitchen today with my 2 friends, their pizzas are awesome! I tried mine with Jamican Jerk toppings, wow it's yummy! The crust is very good, too! I would love to go there again. :)

i love california pizza kitchen. It does not have my hometown!! :mad2: i used to order Thai Chicken when i lived in LI. I wanted to try the new menu they offered now. oh no..

Frisky, if you love Thai Chicken, you can try this.

Hubby and I make our own pizzas. We buy the whole wheat pizza crust that's already baked.

We put BBQ sauce on first then cooked chicken and add red onions, feta cheese and mozzarella cheese on top.

We do this as we love banana peppers. We put that on top of the mozz cheese. Yum!
