Buried In His Car

I never forget that I saw pictures on newspaper and story of his life. Still can't find any pictures of Vette at online.

Little remember that he knew that he won't live longer because he had heath problem. This guy loved speed & zoooom. He did to have good time to ride Concord (plane), speed boat, drive fast car with his Corvette, etc. The Corvette was his pride and joy.

They do not have any casket. Just ashes in vase on the driver's seat.
They removed grease, oil, gas, etc before buried his vette.

:shock: wow he love that car very much... that's interesting burial.

Any metal would not accept to bury here in Germany because of harm enviornment-friendly.

It was rather interesting.

I recalled that 11 years ago, my dad asked me to do internet search to find "Homemade coffin" for his friend to build one for himself. I found several interesting sites and you can build "coffin" which can be double as clothe closet, table ect. Once you die, your family member can clean it out and put in your favorite blanket and stuff in and buried you with it. It can be any type of coffin that you can build and put it on your Will that you wanted to be buried with the one you built. The real issue with Funeral homes that they refuse to accept homemade coffins that can fit inside the funeral home. Right now there are new law that allow anyone have rights to bring their homemade coffins to any funeral homes. Because funeral homes market coffins from company that build one like Artco (coffin manufacturer in Lenexa, KS where I am close by) and several brands which can cost from $4k and up. They don't want lose their comission. But now they can't force people to buy coffins which they can't afford. Something you can think about :hmm:

You could ask Amish to build you their best wooden casket for ya :rofl2:

Or if anyone are computer freaks and they can be ceremated and their ash can be inside of their favorite CPU case. :Ohno: :iobarf::ugh:
