According To Spears, The Father Is Casey Aldridge

Jamie Lynn Spears, 16, has confirmed to OK! Magazine that she is pregnant.

TMZ is reporting that the interview, which hits stands on Wednesday, is on the record with Jamie Lynn and her mother.

According to Spears, the father is Casey Aldridge, who she has been dating for some time and first met at church.

Spears, most famous for her starring role in of Nickelodeon's "Zoey 101," said she plans to keep the baby. TMZ reported at the time of interview, Jamie had not yet told her older sister Britney.

Nickelodeon issued the following statement Tuesday. "We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being."

are you sure this story not hoax? I have not heard that on the news. Because I know I watch then news that Brittany is the one expecting another baby a 3rd child.
 
It's official... the dork gene has been passed on from Britney to Jamie Lynn.. oh man... that Jamie Lynn gal is probably not so bright in doing this.. I hope she will learn a valuable lesson... all I can say is "OY!!"

I bet she got pregnant for her own personal reason just to hold on to the guy to trap him or trying to get back at her family eithe way.
 
If Jamie is pregnant then I hoping so she is better not follow step Britney's screw up so Jamie can stay out of screw up like Britney. :)

And also I read somewhere few months ago not sure when it was that Jaime was scare and got pregnant by accident.
 
She's just following in her sister, Britney's footsteps maybe wants media attention. Let's hope the Jamie Lynn is a better mother to her upcoming child. She's going to be a very young mom at age 16 hope she can take responsibility with her new baby.
 
Who cares...its her problem not ours...its her choice to open her legs and get pregnant.
 
Oh you guys are so mean, no she got pregnant unexpectly, it happens all times.
I highly doubt she does this to trap bf cuz they been dating since she was 13 1/2 and now she's 16 so almost 3 years. Sure she could've been smarter about safe sex but everybody made miskate. Leave her alone, she's moving to hometown to raise baby and try to have normal life.
 
Sigh! Is she got pregnant on purpose to make money because her sister Britney is famous? She could be paid $1.1 million after she has her baby.

Spears' dad devastated by pregnancy news: report

Jamie Lynn Spears' father is reportedly devastated by the news of his 16-year-old daughter's pregnancy — and enraged that she and his ex-wife sold the story to a US tabloid magazine.

Jamie Lynn — sister of pop queen Britney — and mum Lynne broke the story to OK! Magazine — a tabloid notorious for paying out multi-million dollar sums for celebrity exclusives.

But father Jamie is said to be furious with the story, going so far as to say he will not "take any profit or money off his children", according to a source who spoke with Us Magazine.

The father of the Nickelodeon star is said to be devastated by the news of her pregnancy and believes that "Jamie Lynn ruined her life".

Paparazzi site TMZ is reporting that the rumoured $1.1 million paid for the story won't be handed over to Spears until she has given birth.

Other reports say mum Lynne spilled the beans about the pregnancy to Britney's ex-husband Kevin Federline — before telling Britney.

"Kevin knew before Britney that Jamie Lynn is pregnant," an insider told gossip site PageSix.

"In fact, Britney's mum Lynne told Kevin about it on Monday, because Lynne wanted Kevin to be prepared when Britney found out.
 
well,, we know Brittany is rich woman and I am sure her sister rely on her money as well since she is famous. But I am sorry to say that 16 is still too young to have a baby and don't matter if she start dating at the age 13. I dated at age 13 but and still say no to sex until I was much older. I would rather finish high school then be a high school drop out being preg at 16. So kids know better.

Hmm... "dork gene"? Nah, more like... "white trash gene". ;)
 
Yeah I heard about that.. it's sad and it sends a wrong message to kids that it's ok to get pregnant at 16... I say no it isn't and it's wrong and I hope her bf gets busted because it's illegal to have sex with minor... but then who knows if her bf will get in trouble for that or not.

tsk tsk Spears. *smh*
