breathing child

Breathing Child

waking up from my sleep
gasping for air
during the wake up
i was running out of breath
even stop breathing
half awake and seeing this young child
i cannot see the child face
but i know the child is taking my breath
trying to take it all
once the child was about to take all
i force myself waking up more
gasping for more air for me
reaching my arm out to the child
and tears coming out of my eyes
because i know the child needs my breath

makes me wonder who the child is
it has been like this in months
is the child cries for help from me?
if i know who the child is
i would give all my breath
but i do know that the child know me
i know it the child i known in my life
living out there cries for help
i want this child to grow up in the next generation
this child must be important and needs love and care
my prayers goes to this child

this happen to me months ago
same thing happening
waking up and hearing this child gasping for air
i got up so quick as i can
look at this child eyes
i know the child is ok now
i was still trying to breathe for myself
rubbing the child forehead and sing
good tears coming out of my eys
i kept watching this child goes back to sleep
and pray for the child to lead a good life
