Breast Reduction

Tousi

I'm from Australia.

http://www.aph.gov.au/library/intguide/SP/medicare.htm

My friend had hers for free, as she was on the waiting list at public Hospital as Doctor recommend it.

Her size was about 12E (I guess) waist size was 8 and hip was 12, yes she looks like a Barbie doll. Her Mother had hers reduced too!!

She got it reduced to a reasonable size to 12C, much better on her.

Awie, you mean Aussie Medicare...not US Medicare...we have the same name...ah well. I doubt our Medicare and Medicaid here will cover this kind of surgery.

maybe not just Medicare itself (Part A and B) but if have Medicare Advantage (http://www.medicare.gov/Choices/Overview.asp) then will have more coverage then this is possible to have this treatments.

I did brief googling and find a clinic that do breast reduction or surgery whatever and this clinic offer that and do accept those insurance and one of them are based on Medicare Advantage OR Medicare
http://www.polyclinic.com/admin/topnav/patient/health_plans.htm

The key is to have both Parts enrolled. Part A and B not just one. Of course if enrolled in both then will means there is premiums either paid by mail or deducted from check.

LuciaDisturbed - sorry for the confusing hee!

I didn't realised we have the same name but in different country, for the Australian, they want to get a better Medicare cover, they pay what it is called MedicarePrivate. (no waiting list, five star private Hospital etc).

Medicaid is for very low income people regardless of whether they are disabled or not.

Medicare is for the disabled and the elderly.

Since I am low income AND disabled, I get both.

I don't get Medicare yet.

Its seems better than demand on health insurance.

How old are you?

Yes, I do think Medicare is better for doctor visits, hospitalizations, etc...but for medications I preferred Medicaid but since the new plan D has been put into effect, I have to use Medicare's plan D to get my medications. Ah well.

I need to finish college first. I am a Graphic Design major.

And I do not like to tell people this but I am bipolar and ADHD and also have difficulty standing for more than 20 minutes and cannot walk very far. This is due to a birth defect and I am overdue for hip replacements due to that same birth defect.
