I thought this is an interesting photo (although graphic) of a brain infected by meningitis.....Go here to see the photo (it's graphic) Since some of us, including myself, had meningitis in the past.....we all are lucky to be here. :)
 
I had spinal menigitis when I was 20 months old so I became deaf. This is the first time I've seen picture of menigitis affected brain. Good thing it didn't damage my brain. When I saw this picture, I thought whoa!
 
I had meningitis in January 2004. That's scary ass stuff to look at, but still - thank you Nancy for posting it!
 
I had it when I was five years old—knocked out one ear deader than a doornail, but spared the other one. Very sobering picture. :|
 
wow my brain must've looked like that when I had meningitis when I was 2.... cause that pic is of the HIB meningitis infected brain, and I had HIB meningitis... very interesting!
