The bottled water is supposedly not as healthy because it sits on the shelf so long. Besides, most of that water is not cleaned up with filteration or distalation. Some of the bottled water is just ordinary tap water. I hear there are some very big name, brand name, bottle water companies that are taking their water straight from the tap. I guess its cheaper for them.
In America we have very clean water, so we rarely have to worry about problems with our water. This is not Africa were diseases can leech into our water. Heck, in some parts of California they even take sewer and redistribute it as drinking water. NO JOKE! The water is so clean no one has ever gotten sick from it and its cheaper then drilling wells or taking it from the ocean. They just filter the sewer until on the end there is basically nothing but water that comes out.
